The Mufulira Leopards ended their 24-year Red Metal Mufulira 7’s Championship drought after beating sister club, Mufulira Hunters, to lift the trophy on home soil.

The Leopards, coached by Willis Magasa, have now won two trophies – including the Nchanga 10’s Championship in March of this year.

“I am happy we have made history because Mufulira Leopards last won this championship in 1995” – Willis Magasa

The day will go down as one of the great days in Leopards rugby history, with both the men’s and women’s teams winning the Cup.
